Painting with ink. At first this was just gonna be a normal frog, but he grew a bit more personality as I sketched.
Tyrannosaurus…
Hespa the grumpy hermitess squirrel (from a short story)
Our little Lily dog. She has congestive heart failure, so we know her days are numbered. Her little doggy heart has literally grown too big.
Captain Barnacles reinterpreted.
A realistic take on Professor Inkling from Octonauts (a dumbo octopus)
Reinterpretation of Kwazii from Octonauts
The Medic.
Tweak, the swamp rabbit mechanic (also an Octonaut).
Shellington, the scientist.
Dashi the photographer.
Since technically "Tunip" shows up as one of the Octonauts, I went ahead and drew the vegimals also. For those of you disconnected from children's cartoons, the vegimals are cute half-vegetable-half-animal creatures that serve the Octonauts. Tweak, the rabbit mechanic is constantly eating carrots, so when I made the vegimals look realistic, I had to wonder then how the vegimals felt about that.
My friend Melissa's corgi pup
From a short story by Elise Tuck
